At the beginning of this year, we decided it was time to overhaul our existing chocolate bar range and we are thrilled to announce that this range has now launched!
The brief our team of chocolatiers were given was that the bars should be fun, accessible and outrageously delicious.
With the brief in hand, our head chocolatier; Dan, and our factory manage; Mira set about creating a long list of flavours they wanted to experiment with and once this was complete, the experiments could commence.
Throughout the development process, Dan and Mira idenitifed that texture and two tone chocolate bars could be interesting focus points. By using our new depositing machine, the duo were able to test and develop new bars which would not have been possible before. Using our new machine, the team created innovative chocolate bars with inclusions, such as our Honeycomb Crunch, and our Cinnamon Toast bars and by depositing two contrasting chocolates at the same time and swirling, they created our new Flat White Coffee and Peppermint Swirl bars. In addition to these four flavours, there are a range of bar flavours which certainly hit the brief, they are most definitely fun, accessible and outrageously delicious!
As part of the new chocolate bar range, we wanted to shake up our packaging design for our luxury chocolate bars. With our previous range of bars being very minimalist in design, we decided we wanted bars with bright and vibrant packaging that stood out on the shelf.
After an eight month development process we could not be more proud of our new chocolate bar range. With a range of 16 new flavours (including three new seasonal Christmas flavours), we feel the range hits the brief perfectly and can't wait to hear the feedback from our loyal customers!
Our new chocolate bars officially launched at The Speciality Fine Food show in September 2022, and the feedback on the new flavours and the new packaging was overwhelmingly positive. With orders received from the US, Germany, Canada already, we have a feeling this range of bars is going to be found in many countries across the world.
